    Curtain Rod Ribbon Storage Idea

    In a previous Craft Room Chaos column, I reviewed a commercial ribbon storage solution. Before obtaining this system, I had created my own makeshift storage that is an inexpensive alternative. (Brace yourself for the terrible photo. I wasn’t expecting to be sharing it at the time it was taken!) The concept is similar to the ribbon shelf’s dowel system.     Clothes Peg Art Display

    I love to display the artwork of children on the wall, but what do you do when you run out of wall space? Combining yarn, tape, and wooden clothes pegs, you can create an impromptu area to display easy-to-change artwork. This project is so easy you don’t even need a tutorial. I love to drape a piece of yarn across a window and attach it to the wall with tape. (If you already have nails up from Christmas decorations, use ’em!)
